About Russell Surveyors & Associates
Russell Surveyors & Associates was established in September 2004 out of a desire to provide quality land surveying and engineering services to the communities of South Central Colorado.
Our founder, Daniel M. Russell, retired after more than 33 years of land surveying experience in the San Luis Valley, Colorado, and New Mexico areas. As a geologist by degree, Dan was exposed to land surveying while growing up when his father was a professional engineer and land surveyor. After working in the mining industry as a geologist, he had the opportunity to work for a land surveying company. Since that time, as a private surveyor, he was actively involved in all aspects of surveying, business management, employee supervision and training, and project management.
Although Dan is still involved in the background, he has passed the reins of management to his longtime employee, Tony Martin. Learn more about them both below!
